GACE Drive-In Workshop: "Picture Me" Listening Workshop

Our profession requires an on-going practice of effectively listening to others and without proper listening, we likely will not respond and communicate effectively and get the intended outcome.  

Join us for a Listening Experience where we will learn & practice some simple guidelines for listening using a fun and creative journaling exercise called ‘Picture Me.’  This workshop will bring new insight into how we interact with others during 2:1 sessions within our profession.  We will learn how to listen in a deeper way that requires us to say ‘NO’ to our normal habits of casual, conversational listening, so that we make room for better interactions with our students and staff.

As former Managing Director of onelifemaps.com, Rebecca Madden worked on the development of Listen to My Life materials to help people engage their life story – past, present and future, and through the years, she has lead many life story and listening retreats and experiences for professionals, lay leaders and ministers.
