ELIGIBILITYThe membership of the association consists of: career services and experiential education representatives (including interns in a related field), from four-year degree granting colleges and universities, community and junior colleges, and post-secondary state technical colleges in Georgia; and employer representatives who are actively engaged in the selection and/or placement of students and alumni from the above institutions. GACE memberships are owned by the organization (institution or employer) and not the individual. In the case that a member moves organizations, their individual membership remains with the organization. As such, the organization may transfer memberships to others within their organization at their discretion. Third party recruiter representatives, who endorse and abide by the "Principles for Professional Conduct for Career Services and Employment Professionals" as stated by the National Association for Colleges and Employers (NACE), are eligible for membership in the Association. GACE MEMBERSHIP OWNERAll GACE Memberships are Organizational Memberships; meaning that they are property of the sponsoring organization. If an individual should leave their sponsoring organization or assume a role at the sponsoring organization that is not eligible for GACE membership, the Sponsoring Organization may re-assign the GACE membership to another eligible individual from their organization. |
