Description: Provide career/professional development guidance and support to students in our undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, including recent graduates/alumni. Partner with employers, faculty, and campus services in facilitating career development programs, employment/applied learning experiences and other initiatives that support our students. Meet with academic department chairs and other student support areas to develop and implement goals/initiatives annually involving the career and professional development of students. This position currently supports majors aligned with the Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, as well as other targeted populations on campus. Academic support areas are subject to change as needs arise, requiring someone who can navigate supports across all students and programs.
Requirements: Master’s Degree required, preferably in Counseling/Higher Education Administration/Human Resources or related area. Prefer work experience in higher education, counseling or in an employment services arena.
