This position will work across faculty, campus administration, and employers, to identify and implement best practices in the workflows and documentation of internship experiences across credit-based internships, non-credit based internships, and cooperative education assignments. The role will lead internship development, process improvements, and policy alignment for the campus. This position requires a high attention to detail, the ability to establish rapport and partnerships across internal and external stakeholders and manage critical projects that help to support the University’s strategic goal to achieve the Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement. The individual will generate efficiencies and enhance our efforts in developing a robust internship process for campus that optimizes our program offerings to be customer friendly to students and employers. The position will promote the services and resources of our university to employers, develop new partnerships and market opportunities across our campus network to optimize student engagement. This position will consult with faculty and college administrators on methods to enhance the quality of experiential learning/career development opportunities.
Master’s Degree required, with experience in Business Development/Higher Education Administration/Human Resources or related area.
